MEET RANJITH
Having the valuable opportunity to closely engage and connect with many fellow Canadians as a banking professional, media broadcaster, public speaker and entrepreneur has shed light for me on the crucial need to advocate for real change. My name is Ranjith Parani and I am running to be your Conservative candidate in Ajax with aspirations to advocate for what its vibrant and enriched community truly needs.
Ajax being the home of my family and friends for over 15 years, fostering strong and positive community relationships has nurtured my trust in working together with you all for real change. As a working professional, entrepreneur and community advocate with experience in Ajax, I have always been a collaborative, consensus builder who thrives on taking a project from inception to completion.
Volunteering with various not-for-profit organizations has made me conscious and aware of the invaluable contributions of how diverse communities have enriched Canada’s social, cultural, economic and political fabric.
My deep connection and dedication to supporting these communities will give me a leading edge to seek and solve problems at the grassroots level while articulating what the people of Ajax need in terms of real change. With my proven ability to actively listen to public opinion and champion change through multiple avenues, I am hoping to be your reliable voice in Ottawa. Let’s join together for real change. Housing Affordability
The affordability of owning or renting a home and the importance of housing affordability is an issue not only to the residents of Ajax but all Canadians. The housing supply crisis is at a critical point, and bold action is needed. Ranjith is a strong advocate for reaching housing targets and speeding up the construction of much-needed new condos and homes. He will be an integral voice to reduce building delays on new affordable rental units and spur the construction of residential development on excess federal land. Ranjith will work tirelessly for not only responsible development of affordable homes for families, but also infrastructure to support them.
Safety, Dignity and Well-Being
The safety, dignity and well-being of the people of Ajax is of utmost importance to Ranjith. Ajax has seen a great influx of homeless encampments, with the number ever rising. Many continue living on the street either in communities or on their own. Additionally, drug overdoses accounted in Ajax continue to rise. It will therefore be a top priority of Ranjith to push the government into action to address the homelessness and addiction epidemic.
Lowering Taxes
While inflation and interest rates are driven up because of inflationary spending, the constant tax hikes are making the day-to-day lives of Canadian families more expensive. As your voice, it is important to fight back against all tax hikes so you can keep more of every dollar you earn. Ranjith will ensure he works to abolish all of the costly carbon taxes to lower the price of gas, heat, and groceries, and make life less expensive for not only those in Ajax but all Canadians.
